Traditional Real Christmas trees are available for Christmas in a variety of different forms, most commonly as cut, potted or container grown. Cut and potted trees are for one season only; the roots left on a potted tree allow it to take up more water and means it will stay fresh for longer and not drop as many needles.
Living Tree, Living Root System
Many Christmas trees supplied in pots have damaged or dead root systems and will not survive beyond the festive season. However, our genuine pot grown living Christmas trees have a complete, healthy live root system and will survive indoors with correct watering for the entire festive season and beyond. The unique Living Christmas Trees' growing process means that our container and pot grown Christmas trees can be grown on in their pots for future years or they can be planted outside.
Popular Traditional Christmas Tree Varieties
A wide variety of cut and real pot grown Christmas trees are available for the Christmas season. The most common varieties of cut and potted Christmas trees are spruces and firs. The recognised traditional cut Christmas tree in the UK has been the Norway Spruce (picea abies). However, problems with needle drop due to trees drying out has led to an increase in the numbers of Fraser Fir (abies fraseri) and Nordman Fir (abies nordmanniana) being bought.

Living Christmas Trees Size Range
Our living Christmas tree sizes range from a small starter pot grown tree at 50cm (1.5ft) in a 4L pot to a large specimen tree at 1.75m (6ft) in a 25L pot. Container grown living Christmas tree sizes are measured from the top of the pot to the top of the leading stem.
